SMART Leaders: SMART Leaders is a component of Boy & Girls Clubs of America’s award winning and scientifically proven drug, alcohol and tobacco prevention program. SMART (Skills, Mastery and Resistance Training) Leaders is a program designed to develop leadership skills in at-risk youth. Typically youth leadership programs focus on the most successful youth. SMART Leaders on the other hand focuses in developing leadership skills in Hawaii’s most challenged youth, in so doing not only are leadership skills in Hawaii’s most challenged youth, in so doing not only are leadership skills developed where they might otherwise have never been recognized, lives are transformed in the process.
