To provide quality rehabilitation services to people with disabilities that empowers them to participate independently in their community.
 
Brantley Center, Inc.’s vision is to empower people with disabilities to overcome the barriers that restrict full participation in their community. Training programs focus on encouraging independence in the home, workplace, and community. They also support and assist each participant to access housing, health care, transportation, employment, and education.
 
 
 
Funded Program:
Employment Rehabilitation: Provides people with disabilities a variety of services that develops and supports the accomplishment of goals leading to meaningful competitive employment. The Employment Rehabilitation Program also provides high school students with disabilities an opportunity to transition from their school environment to the work environment during their senior year. Then, once they graduate they are ready to seek employment.
 
 
 

Client Outcome Story: After 22 years of being unemployed, Carl got a job as a mechanic but was unable to stay employed due to heavy lifting required and congenital dislocation of both his hips. He successfully completed the job-readiness class, and received job placement and follow-up services from Brantley Center. Carl was placed at Napa Auto Parts where hi is able to use his experience as a certified mechanic without any heavy lifting. In 2006 he was the Sate Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Rehabilitate of the Year. Today, Carl is able to support his family and help his sons with college tuition.
