Funded Program:
"Hands On" Home Maintenance Training - Basics: Is intended to educate partner families about the importance of home maintenance and to provide them with the necessary knowledge and basic skill set to perform some of these needed tasks.
Client Outcome Story: Not one of our partner families had a mortgage nor had they attended the required financial training. The support of HIUW, allowed us to put all but one family one on mortgage payments and provide them with financial training, which all the families have completed.
Mortgage payments go into a revolving account, allowing us to build additional homes in East Hawaii.
