Directions
- Gather all the ingredients together and mix well with music, food, beverages and enthusiasm.
- With each executive, determine what personal service they feel comfortable giving to those with the highest bid (for example; shoe polishing, golfing, wash car, deliver lunch).
- Have auctioneer start auction by calling and introducing the executive and the service the executive will provide to the winning bid.
- Start bidding. Winning bids can be completed by using the United Way pledge card, cash, VISA/Mastercard, or check.
- Have fun; videotape the entire event and the executives providing service to the winning bidder.
- Show video at holiday party, annual picnic or through the organization newsletter.
