Funded Program:
Emergency Food, Shelter & Elderly Supplemental Food Program: Intends to provide support service to elderly through supplementing their food and visitation.
Client Outcome Story: *Elderly living in a car looks forward to our visit and providing him food and talk story. Another elderly who is alone and had some illness. He had no family, The Salvation Army Representative visited and provided food. Was given comfort before he passed away. He always looked forward to the visit of The Salvation Army.
*Bob who is incapacitated, legs wrapped and feet elevated, has to have oxygen-visit from The Salvation Army bringing food and giving comfort and encouragement keeps the spirits up, provided mental and physical assistance. No family members.
