Silent Auction
Ingredients
- Some variations of item or several different items, whatever the organizing volunteers wish.
- Display them beautifully in a central location.
- Number all the items displayed.
- Provide silent auction lists, and make them available for everyone to bid.
- Establish a time frame through publicity.
- When the deadline arrives, the highest bidder for each item gets to take it home. Hawaii Island United Way receives more donations, and employees have fun participating in silent auction.
We used donated Teddy Bears and displayed them in a "Teddy Bear Village" for 10 days during the holiday shopping season. This was the most beautiful Holiday display and lots of fun!
