Strengthened by diversity and sustained by the richness of many beliefs and values, the Association draws together members who strive to create opportunities for growth, leadership and power in order to attain a common vision: Peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all people. And it’s one imperative: The Association will trust its collective power toward the elimination of racism wherever it exits and by any means necessary.

Funded Programs: YWCA Health Promotion Services

Hamakua Youth Center: Youth learn new or enhance existing skills to support healthy and productive choices and to reduce reckless or risky behaviors. They will also increase social bonding of youth with peers and adults. Youth will be empowered in decision making and peer education that will build stronger community partnerships.
